Made with 100% Tempranillo Blanco from the only specialist white wine winery in Rioja (they do produce excellent red wines also, but from separate vineyards) on clay vineyards at an altitude between 550-700 metres (with a small layer of sand on the surface).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The Palacios project is really interesting (never mind the wines being fantastic) in that they sourced lots of small vineyards in high altitude areas to develop their wines, but then discovered old vines and also old grape varietals.
