It's aged for 10 moths, on it's lees, in those fermentation vessels and then for 6 months in stainless steel tanks (still on it's lees). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has lovely crisp acidity, balanced weight, hints of Granny Smith, lime, grapefruit and crushed stones. It's medium bodied with the acidity beautifully balanced through the palate, and is quite rich for a Macon. It finishes fresh and lingers with citrusy notes. \u003cbr\u003eIt's immediately recognisable as a Leflaive wine (yes, we have visited!) and is a great introduction to the most famous White wine producer in Puligny.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlc. Vol. 13%\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNow, for the nerds!  If you buy this in Magnums the alcohol level is flagged at 12.5% but it's the same wine! \u003cbr\u003eInstead, it usually comes down to legal rounding (there is a margin of error built in), or separate bottling times etc.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e*Their negotiant wines (where they buy in the grapes but vinify etc themselves in Puligny) sell at nearly €200 per btl but this is a Domaine wine - it's Leflaive's vineyard!
