Christmas suggestions.
Everybody has different tastes (We are not all Man U supporters!) and it’s the same when it comes to wine, so you must allow for this when entertaining over the festive season. Below are a few recommendations. Full tasting notes are on the web site.
Having friends and family over? You are going to be opening quite a few bottles so don’t want to be spending too much. Choose from the following:
White
Aveleda Loureiro €14 From the Vinho Verde region of Portugal this is a great drinking wine, light and fresh, suits all tastes.
Portillo Sauvignon Blanc €12.50 A little drier, but will be very popular.
Albarei Albarino €15 More serious with lots of fruit and flavour.
Red
Segredos, Alentejano €12 Lovely soft red will keep everyone happy.
Portillo Malbec €12.50 More full bodied, great all rounder
Lab Reserva €14.50 They will love this, rich oaked flavours
If you are a Chardonnay fan and want to be a little selfish
and want a white that is fruity and slightly oaked go for Villa Blanche €14.
The Cotes du Rhone €14.50 would also suit you in the red.

All the reds are chosen for their fruit and softness and are perfect cover for that dry turkey that you have overcooked!
