Hunter's Sauvignon Blanc 2025, Marlborough, New Zealand
Minimum order: 6 bottles. We sell in cases of 6 or 12 to ensure you get the best deal, best price and best service.
The benchmark premium Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. While Cloud Bay has it's fans, it is twice the price so the real value is here!
Hunter's 20025 Sauvignon Blanc opens with notes of passion fruit, lime and grapefruit. The palate is vibrant, dry but creamy, with a rich and complex dense fruit core. It has a dry, fresh, saline finish that is long and satisfying with balanced acidity throughout.
Hunter's is Marlborough's oldest independent winery, in the hands of the same family since 1979. Established by Jane & Ernie Hunter, driven by Jane for many years and now lead by Jane's nephews Edward and James Macdonald, Hunters remains in the top echelon, and is one of the most revered (and award-winning) Marlborough producers.
And, YES! Ernie Hunter was Irish! Ernie died suddenly in 1987 and Jane drove Hunter's forward from there.
92 Points Cameron Douglas MS
A lovely bouquet with an attractive core of ripe citrus and tropical fruits, along with floral and soft lees qualities adding complexity. Fleshy, fruity, varietal, and delicious on the palate with a satin texture, contrasting acid line and a return to the flavours of citrus and tree fruit with a fine tropical quality.
