A lovely fresh and approachable wine, with subtle scents on the nose. 35% aged in new oak but barely noticeable on the nose or palate, and doesn't mask the soft red and wild fruit flavours. Great fruit throughout but never heavy - a quality wine, drinking now but with great aging potential. !

The 2023 has a bird on the label - And yes (before you ask) the labels are drawn by the children of the estate and change with every vintage!

Herdade da Malhadinha is located in the Baixo Alentejo, about 2 hours drive south East of Lisbon. They have accommodation available (A Hotel & Villas) so if ever in that part of the world, it's worth a visit. HERDADE DA MALVADINHA
