Segredos de São Miguel Branco is a local blend (see below) from the excellent Casa Relvas wine company.

It offers aromas of tropical fruits and minerals. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh with full fruit flavours, soft texture and a refreshing acidity and character. It finishes fresh and surprisingly long for a wine at this price. A real crowd pleaser!

Alentejano is basically the region east of Lisbon and is made up of seven diverse sub-regions. It is relatively hot (up to mid 30s) but it's undulating hills are home not only to vines, but to olives, cork oaks, wheat and sheep. A great place to visit if you get the chance!
