This 100% Sauvignon Blanc from near Tours, on the Loire river, shows a lovely bright, very lightly green colour in the glass. This opens out on the palate to show as a crisp but subtle and elegant Sauvignon with the expected flavours of lemons etc. 

This is not a New World tropical style of Sauvignon Blanc! While it does offer citrus and tropical fruits, they are restrained by Kiwi standards, and provide a long crisp elegant finish.
