A crackling, refreshing Italian white that offers a little bit more than it's peers!

Vermentino is a widely grown grape in most parts of Italy and is a refreshing option to Sauvignon Blanc, with the proviso that Vermentino typically shows more distinct herbal and saline characteristics. It has similar acidity so offers that refreshing finish so loved by white wine drinkers. 

It shows first with a nice full, rich nose of grapefruit and honey, with hints of white blossoms. On the palate it shows immediately with crisp citrus salinity, with the clean fresh acidity shining through. It finishes crisp, clean and very refreshing. 

Just Roberto Vermentino 2025 is not just an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc, it actually works better with so many types of food - fried fish (where it cuts through with it's clean acidity), chicken & garlic - where it seems to compliment the flavours - and those awkward food items that we are always searching for matches - asparagus (which goes with nothing if you read reviews!) peas, courgettes etc
