Wine Delivery Across Ireland

Web Wines delivers wine to homes and businesses across Ireland. Orders are normally dispatched the next working day and typically arrive within two to three working days. Fine and Premium Wines may need an additional day.

Most individual wines are sold in six-bottle cases. Selected mixed and gift cases are also available for customers who would like to explore several wines in one order.

Nationwide delivery is free on orders over €150. For orders below €150, the delivery charge is shown at checkout.

Choosing Your Next Case of Wine

Begin with the type of wine you normally enjoy. Browse our Red Wines for the dinner table or explore our White Wines for something to keep chilled.

Sometimes a place provides the starting point. A Rioja you remember from Spain might lead you through our Spanish Wines. A bottle enjoyed over dinner in France might send you towards our French Wines. There are also wines from Italy, Portugal and further afield.

If you know the grape rather than the region, you can also browse wines by grape.

Most wines are sold in six-bottle cases, while selected mixed and gift cases offer another way to explore the range.

A Smaller Wine Range for a Reason

Ordering wine online can quickly become a matter of scrolling through hundreds of bottles that look much the same.

Web Wines takes a different approach. Wines are tasted before they’re added to the range, so some of the choosing has already happened before you begin looking for your next case.

You might return to a wine you already know or use your next order to try a different region, grape or producer. The range offers enough variety to make choosing interesting without overwhelming you with unnecessary options.

The point isn’t to have the largest possible selection. It’s to make the wines that are there worth considering.

An Independent Irish Wine Merchant Since 1982

Web Wines has its roots in the wine business Jim McCabe established in 1982, when he opened Ireland’s first Wine Warehouse.

Today, the range is overseen by John McCabe, continuing the family approach of tasting wines before deciding whether they belong in the range.

That judgement matters when wine is being delivered rather than chosen in person. You can’t pick up every bottle or talk each one through with a merchant, so the decisions made before a wine appears online become part of what you’re relying on.

How Long Does Wine Delivery Take in Ireland?

Nationwide orders are normally dispatched the next working day and typically arrive within two to three working days.

DPD is our trusted nationwide delivery partner. Fine and Premium Wines may need an additional day, and larger orders can occasionally take a little longer where stock needs to be brought together.

If you’re ordering for a particular dinner, birthday or date that matters, email info@webwines.ie with your address and the wines you’re considering. We’ll confirm the expected delivery time.

Receiving Your Wine Delivery

Someone aged 18 or over must be available to receive and sign for your wine.

Because the delivery contains alcohol, a case cannot be left unattended or in a designated safe place. Where available, DPD tracking information is provided following dispatch.
