Lovely ripe berry fruits, cherry and mineral aromas, good concentration for a village wine, opens up in the mouth with the flavours (those berried fruits again!) lingering to it's long elegant finish. 

2020 was a wonderful vintage in Cotes de Nuits.

With the 4th generation, in the shape of Alain's daughter Elodie now in charge of this 8ha estate (7.5ha in Nuits) the wines continue to evolve - with perhaps greater finesse and purity than in the past.
With vines averaging over 45 years of age, you get that little extra richness on the finish. Domaine Michelot age their wines for on average 18 months in oak giving a full, ripe and balanced wine with great potential to keep in the medium term.
