Give those taste buds a treat with this mixed case of 6 different white varietals - all 100% single varietal, and all available to order separately when you have picked your favourite(s). 

Picking 6 different varietals for this selection was a bit easier than the Red Varietal case but we did have to choose between the better known classic varietals and the lesser known varietals - and balance the price!

Anyway, the current selection is listed below - we promise to tweak it regularly!

Nivarius Finca La Nevera 2019, Palacios, Rioja, Spain  €35.00
100% Maturana Blanca from a wine maker who has just been voted into the top 100 most Influential winemakers worldwide! Opening with an intense nose (Apples, pears, even quince) and touch of minerality, it has a long crisp grip on the palate with classy tension, it finishes long with stone fruits, and aromatic herbs going on... and on ... 
Nivarius Finca La Nevera 2019 is astounding value, receiving 95 points from Penin Guide amongst other great scores. At this price we only get a decent Chablis or inferior Pouilly Fuissé from elsewhere!

Solo Roberto Pinot Bianco 2023, Friuli Graves, Italy   €18.00
100% Pinot Bianco, also called Weissburgunder in Sud-tirol & Alto Adige.  It shows with dominant notes of green apples and peaches on the nose. In the mouth it is a fresh, fruity and nicely balanced wine, with those apples and peaches lingering on.
Awarded 93 points by Luca Maroni and 16.5/20 by Jancis Robinson.com , who said 'it smells of broccoli flowers (seriously) and tastes like honey-drizzled roasted courgette flowers, I love it!'  To be honest, none of us got the broccoli !

Macon Lugny Les Crays 2022, Joseph Drouhin, Burgundy, France   €22.00
100% Chardonnay,  It offers fresh lively fruit supported by a mid-weight palate, a crisp and straightforward mouthfeel with a mineral finish. It is warm and surprisingly rich and finishes long and clean.  An excellent 'Lieu Dit' example of the much maligned Chardonnay. It was common in the 90's & noughties to hear 'I don't like Chardonnay but I love Macon Lugny'!

Nivarius Tempranillo Blanco 2023, Palacios, Rioja  €16.95 
Aromas of citrus and stone fruits, a splendidly expressive agile palate which is rich and full but always long and clean, with balanced acidity. And of course, the Wine Maker g=here Raúl Tamayo, has just been voted as one of the top 100 most relevant wine makers world wide! So there!

Gavi 2024 DOCG, Casali del Barone, Piedmont, Italy  €18.00
This 100% Cortese wine from Southern Piedmont has pronounced mineral notes and hints of citrus on the nose. It offers delicate flavours - fresh fruit  and a touch of salinity, and finished crisp and dry. Cortese is THE white grape of Piedmont.  

Hunter's Sauvignon Blanc 2025, Marlborough, New Zealand  €22.00
Notes of passion fruit, lime and grapefruit. The palate is vibrant, dry but creamy, with a rich and complex dense fruit core. It has a dry, fresh, saline finish that is long and satisfying with balanced acidity throughout.   Hunter's is Marlborough's oldest independent winery, in the hands of the same family since 1979.
